The Minister of Agriculture and rural development, Chief Audu Ogbe, said supplied sharp sands as fertilizer while fake seeds were sold to farmers during former President Jonathan’s administration.

Chief Ogbe disclosed this in Birnin Kebbi during the official launching of the N40 billion Borrowers Programme (ABP) and the commencement of the dry season farming? organised by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) for rice farmers across the country.

While complimenting former administration’s for its achievements in agriculture, the minister said corruption was still rampant.

Chief Ogbeh further stressed that quacks have no room in the present administration. “Security agencies will now be used to check fraudsters. We will no longer allow the elite play prank on our farmers?,” he said.
