On Wednesday the U.S. Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs Victoria Nuland will come to Russia meet with senior Russian government officials to discuss the implementation of the Minsk agreements, according to the press release of the U.S. State Department.
On May 17, Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs Victoria Nuland will travel from Vienna, Austria, to Moscow, Russia. She will meet with senior Russian government officials to discuss the situation in eastern Ukraine and next steps to implement the Minsk agreements in support of the Normandy countries and the Trilateral Contact Group. She will also discuss a range of bilateral and regional issues with Russian officials,
Assistant Secretary Nuland will then join Secretary of State John Kerry in Brussels, Belgium, May 18-20.
