Apparently the UN forces in Côte d'Ivoire (UNOCI) have abandoned their primary mission of helping to restore peace in the country, by engaging resolutely in robbery, gangsterism and bloody rebellion. Yesterday, Tuesday, March 1st, 2011, witnesses told TWN correspondent in Abidjan that, the United Nations forces, lacking fuel. robbed at gun point a few gas stations in ABOBO

“As they got here”, explained MAMADOU who was there buying some cigarettes, “they just acted like the gas stations belong to them or if it was a free service Gas station. They started filling up their tanks, when they got surprised by some civilians who began booing them. Faced with this shameful situation, the UN bandits panicked and opened fire; three civilians got killed. With no remorse, they left the scene”. Contacted later by TWN reporter, the chief of these gas stations robbers stated that they got authorization from their chief CHOI JIN to do so from now on.

The UN forces since the beginning of the crisis are training, arming and carrying rebel forces from their zones to the capital city of ABIDJAN where they are fighting and killing regular army soldiers. Because of these issues, GBAGBO, the man in charge in Cote d’Ivoire and his government asked all the gas stations not to serve fuel to any UN vehicle. As you can see, stealing gasoline and shooting at civilians seem to be the best way CHOI and KI-MOON asked them to operate to evade the embargo.
